about us

Lightning Prototypes is made up of veteran members from the award-winning Steven Spielberg's BOOM BLOX development team. The same curiosity that questioned design conventions with BOOM BLOX on the Wii led the group to surprising designs on Microsoft’s NATAL system.

Our small but mighty team employs a three-pronged strategy that results in games that delight everyone who plays, serious and casual gamers alike:

  1. rapid prototyping to find the fun quickly
  2. understanding the platform strengths and limitations
  3. fostering a collaborative, nurturing environment in which creative ideas are the currency of the realm.

Lightning Prototypes' goal is to stay true to the same values that permeated our most successful and rewarding game development efforts, to stay small and agile with the ability to bring on experts as needed, and to deliver unique experiences with a mass-market appeal.
